Contact Lenses

A great alternative to wearing your glasses.

Soft contact lenses are one of the most common types of contact lenses which work to correct many types of refractive error including short-sightedness, long-sightedness, astigmatism and even presbyopia. They can be a great accompaniment to your glasses wear, or almost replace them altogether!

If contact lenses sound a bit daunting to you, you're not alone. We'll teach you how to get them in and out easily, and once you know how to look after them, they are a safe, easy-to-use option that are available as single-use or re-usable (monthly) lens types.

With special techniques and several options available, it's important that your optometrist fits the contact lenses especially to your eyes and lifestyle.

There are also specialty contact lenses that are used for more significant eye disorders such as Orthokeratology lenses for progressive myopia, rigid gas permeable and scleral contact lenses for keratoconus and other corneal conditions.
